Lately it feels like the current events are playing like a reality show, and you have this need to follow it not to miss a thing. But from all the distractions on cable t.v. news outlets and constant online blasts, it's no wonder our brain is overloaded and tired.
So after getting into the practice of a short daily meditation, how about choosing a good documentary film to watch. Pick a day of the week, make your popcorn or another healthier snack and enjoy a documentary that will teach you something new, enlighten you or cause you to say "aha!". There isn't any shortage of these well made documentaries out there, tune in to your favorite platform (I like Netflix) and find one weekly, watch alone or with family, debate on the issues, talk about it, share it with friends... let it tickle your mind!
