Meditation is word going around for some time now, some people master it, others get frustrated by it if not bored. Everyone, however can use meditation to improve their lives. There are different types of meditation that affect the brain differently, finding what you need to improve would be a start.
One of the main reasons to meditate is to become more self aware, we can rewrite the old patterns in our mind through meditation, we can do away with our negative tendencies and work toward a more positive outlook as well. Beginning with ten minutes a day, and if you need five to maintain your daily conviction, then take five! It may not happen right away, but with practice you will begin to feel its benefits. One thing is sure, in that short time you allow your mind to refocus, to zap you back into the here and now, not dwelling on past or concerned for tomorrow. |
